Financial Accountant (Reporting) – London / Leeds – QBE
Overview
QBE, a global insurer committed to creating a resilient future, is expanding its Reporting Centre of Excellence. We are looking for a part‑qualified accountant with a passion for data and continuous improvement to deliver corporate financial reporting and support our Executive Office divisional numbers.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate financial reporting, supporting group reporting processes.
- Identify automation and process improvements, enhancing controls and data quality.
- Mentor junior colleagues in an offshore shared services centre.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, maintaining high service levels.
- Validate data integrity checks and make system adjustments to support group reporting.
- Deliver ad‑hoc analysis and reporting requests.
Qualifications
- Part‑qualified or newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) or substantial experience in finance.
- Experience in financial services preferred, but other industries considered.
- Strong continuous improvement mindset, detail orientation, quality focus.
- Digitally curious, excited by data analytics and reporting.
- Experience with Oracle, HFM, Hyperion, Wdesk, Alteryx or eagerness to learn.
