Financial Controller Part-Time — Brighton & Hove (Hybrid) • £35,000 – £45,000 pro rata

Hunters prestigious legal client is seeking a talented Financial Controller to lead and develop their finance function. This is a rare opportunity to join a progressive, forward-thinking law firm that values innovation, inclusivity, and flexibility.

The Role

• Oversee the full finance function including billing, credit control, payroll, and management accounts
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the Board
• Ensure compliance with SRA standards and support audits and VAT returns
• Drive process improvements and implement efficient financial systems
• Provide strategic input to support business growth

About You

• ACA part-qualified (or equivalent) with proven finance experience
• Confident working independently and strategically
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
