Financial Controller FMCG
Earning: £85000-£100000 + car + bonus. Based in: Berkshire. Working Style: Hybrid.
Due to transformative changes within an iconic FMCG multi-national, we are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their agile and forward-thinking Finance team.
The role will be carried out on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week spent in the office and a small amount of international travel. This is a great opportunity for somebody with at least 8 years PQE & outstanding technical skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
You’ll need to embrace change, find innovative solutions and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a pro-active problem-solver with a calm demeanour and excellent communication skills.
What you’ll be doing
- Monthly reporting (IFRS) and statutory accounting
- Taking responsibility for the overview of regional reports
- Work with service providers such as a shared service centre to ensure that processes are optimised
- Take ownership of tax compliance including VAT
- Contribute to the team in a meaningful manner with process improvements and new ideas
What you’ll need
- A recognised accounting Qualification (ACCA/ACA level) and strong technical skills
- Knowledge of IFRS, ideally within a multinational environment
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar finance function will give you the ability to transfer effectively into this role
- This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step forward in their career as a Finance leader
- Experience in FMCG, pharmaceuticals and/or a large publicly owned or PE backed business
