What you’ll be doing

Your will have two primary responsibilities within this role which relate to different types of testing. The first testing is of our PEP (Political Exposed Persons), SIP (Special Interest Persons), RCA (Relatives and Close Associates) and Sanction lists – which we source from Dow Jones – for timeliness, completeness and accuracy. The second testing is of our customer and payment screening filters against direct and indirect (fuzzy) matching effectiveness, helping the business identify where there may be gaps in coverage and working with the team to understand exposure in line with business, compliance and regulatory requirements. Both activities occur periodically within an annual cycle.

Performing both activities will involve working alongside others in the team, as well as stakeholders in the business to identify where configurations or performance can be enhanced. Overall, the aim is to improve efficiency whilst maintaining effectiveness, all within our risk appetite.
