The Role

We’re hiring a Senior FP&A Manager to provide hands-on support across payments, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance. This is a critical role ensuring financial stability, liquidity, and accuracy as Fanvue scales rapidly. You’ll take ownership of core finance operations, from accounts payable to cash management, while driving process improvements and supporting automation.

What You’ll Do

• Manage accounts payable: invoice processing, approvals, and payments.
• Maintain and reconcile bank accounts; manage internal transfers and pay runs.
• Monitor cash balances and provide ad hoc liquidity analysis.
• Support month-end close through reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
• Assist with VAT returns and liaise with accountants on bookkeeping queries.
• Ensure compliance and documentation standards are met in a high-risk financial environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements across AP, payments, and reconciliations.
• Contribute to scaling finance systems and embedding automation.

Who You Are

• Extensive experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a startup or scale-up.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals: journals, accruals, financial statements.
• Hands-on experience in AP, reconciliations, and cash/bank management.
• Comfortable working in manual, high-risk financial environments (including adult content).
• Highly detail-oriented, organised, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Operates with integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial data.
• Strong academic background, with a degree from a top-tier university.

Nice-to-haves

• Studying towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
• Experience with international payments, FX, and multi-currency reconciliations.
• Exposure to compliance or financial operations in regulated/high-risk industries.
• You take ownership and thrive in a lean, hands-on finance function.
• You’re proactive in spotting risks and suggesting improvements.
• You’re comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
