Location & Salary

Location: Holborn, London
Reports to: Head of Commercial FP&A
Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 (depending on experience)

The Role

The FP&A Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the Group’s financial performance through strategic analysis, insightful reporting, and data‑driven decision support. This position partners with senior stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions, providing clear financial insights and contributing to strategic planning, forecasting, and performance optimisation.

The role offers the opportunity to influence key commercial decisions, enhance financial modelling capabilities, and support the Group’s continued international growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management Reporting
    • Lead preparation of monthly management reports, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.
    • Deliver high‑quality Board presentation packs and financial dashboards highlighting key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
    • Conduct in‑depth variance and trend analysis, offering actionable insights to senior leadership and investors.
  • Advanced Financial Modelling
    • Build dynamic, scalable financial models that support strategic planning, forecasting, and decision‑making.
    • Excel automation proficiency: advanced Excel functions to streamline reporting and enhance analytical efficiency.
    • Scenario planning & sensitivity analysis: evaluate multiple business outcomes through scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
  • Business Partnering
    • Collaborate with Country Finance and Operations teams to evaluate performance and identify efficiency or revenue‑enhancement opportunities.
    • Support strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, and M&A evaluations through robust financial analysis.
    • Provide financial guidance and challenge to functional and regional leadership teams.
  • Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning
    • Own the rolling forecast and annual budget cycles, ensuring alignment with business strategy and investor expectations.
    • Improve forecasting accuracy through enhanced data modelling, driver‑based forecasting, and use of financial systems.
  • Process Improvement & Systems
    • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance financial processes and reporting tools.
    • Support ongoing development of the Group financial model and systems integration initiatives.

About You

We’re looking for a highly analytical, commercially astute finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and works autonomously.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or strategic finance roles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain complex financial models for multi‑entity businesses.
  • Strong Excel and data analytics skills; experience with BI/reporting tools desirable (e.g., Power BI, Adaptive, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to translate complex financial data into clear insights.
  • Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow interdependencies.
  • Experience in a private equity‑backed or multi‑country business is an advantage.
