Financial Reporting Accountant

Our client is an independent clean energy group that funds, builds, and operates utility-scale renewable projects across the UK and Europe. Backed by major institutional capital and driven by a mission to accelerate the energy transition, they combine commercial sharpness with environmental purpose. Their finance team sits at the heart of each project lifecycle from raising capital to optimising returns post-build.

The Financial Reporting Accountant will play a key role in owning group consolidations, audit preparation, and management insight across a diverse set of energy projects and entities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts (UK GAAP / IFRS)
  • Consolidate financials across multiple SPVs and project vehicles
  • Support management reporting with dashboards, KPIs and commentary
  • Contribute to due diligence, modelling and funding processes for new projects

Qualifications

  • Strong technical grasp of financial reporting and consolidations
  • Experience in infrastructure, renewables, or project-based finance
  • Advanced Excel and data handling confidence
  • Ability to engage across teams and manage complex financial data
