We’re looking for a Fleet Engineer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract, focusing primarily on aircraft components. Reporting to the Senior Fleet Engineering Manager and Engineering Team Leader, you’ll work cross-functionally across all areas of Fleet Technical Management. This role involves ensuring continued airworthiness, maximising safety and reliability, and supporting easyJet’s compliance with EASA Part M / Part-CAMO requirements. You'll collaborate closely with engineers across airframe, avionics, cabin systems, and more to help keep our fleet operating at its best.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Fleet Engineer for Components, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe, cost-effective, and efficient operation of aircraft systems across the easyJet fleet. You’ll manage key EASA Part M / Part-CAMO functions, lead technical issue resolution for components, and collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to maintain airworthiness and reliability. Your role will involve performance analysis, configuration management in AMOS, oversight of component lifecycles, and support for audits and regulatory compliance. You’ll also play a key role in fleet transitions, maintenance programmes, and industry working groups, helping drive continuous improvement in our engineering standards.

What you’ll need to do the role:

We’re looking for a candidate with a recognised degree in Aircraft or Aerospace Engineering, or an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence, with solid knowledge of EASA Part M / Part-CAMO functions and airworthiness regulations. You’ll bring experience from a CAMO environment, ideally with exposure to component maintenance. Familiarity with AMOS and strong skills in Microsoft Office applications are highly desirable. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be motivated, committed to continuous improvement, and adaptable to change in a fast-paced operational environment.

Location & Hours of Work

This full-time role will be based in Lutonand will be 40 hours per week. We embrace hybrid working and spend 60% of our time in the office.
