At TheyScale, we connect bold engineers with bold missions. We’re supporting an ultra-ambitious early-stage startup in the AI x EdTech space. Their mission: use AI to enhance humans - not replace them. The product is live and used by large enterprises; the next step is scaling x3 next year and launching into B2C. They are hiring a Founding Front-End Engineer to lay the foundations of the product and user experience.

Base pay range and equity are provided; final salary is based on skills and experience. Remote-friendly within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the web and mobile applications from the ground up.
• Architect front-end solutions for real-time interactions (video, audio, chat).
• Take responsibility for UX/UI design, creating engaging, gamified, and data-driven experiences.
• Collaborate closely with AI and backend engineers.
• Join the founding team, influencing product and engineering culture.
• Operate in a fast-moving startup environment with full ownership and high expectations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in front-end development (React / Next.js or similar).
• A strong portfolio proving UX/UI design ability and product impact.
• Experience with modern frameworks and scalable architecture.
• Already using AI tools in daily work.
• Fluent in English; fully comfortable working remotely.
• Location: Europe; remote-first across Europe.
