Location: Remote, Europe-based preferred (From United Kingdom, Germany, Estonia, Switzerland)

Experience Required: 10+ years in startup investment, with a focus on cryptocurrency, blockchain, and wallet technologies

About the Role

CoinCROWD is seeking a Startup Fundraising Consultant with deep expertise in crypto wallets, blockchain infrastructure, and digital asset security. This strategic role will drive our fundraising roadmap as we scale our AI-native wallet across global markets.

You’ll help design our capital strategy, engage high-conviction investors, and shape the financial narrative behind the next generation of user-focused DeFi infrastructure.

Develop and execute fundraising strategies for Pre-Series A, Series A, and subsequent rounds.

Investor Network Development

Leverage and expand your network of VCs, crypto-native funds, and institutions backing wallet tech, DeFi, and digital assets.

Collaborate with founders to craft compelling pitch materials, narratives, and investor-specific messaging.

Lead the end-to-end process from warm introductions to deal negotiation and closing.

Research & Insights

Provide insights on investor behavior, market signals, and regulatory developments in crypto and DeFi.

Compliance & Advisory

Navigate legal frameworks (AML, KYC, digital asset compliance) relevant to our fundraising journey.

Investor Relations

Manage relationships post-raise, ensuring alignment and ongoing support from capital partners.

• 10+ years of experience in startup fundraising or venture capital with strong specialization in:

Crypto wallets

Blockchain infrastructure

Digital asset security

• Demonstrated success raising capital for crypto/web3 startups
• Deep understanding of DeFi, token models, and emerging wallet technologies
• Extensive VC and institutional investor network
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills
• Experience navigating compliance issues in crypto fundraising (AML, KYC, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience of working in Wallet startups, Exchanges or DeFi protocols
• Custody or cold-storage solutions
• Familiarity with: Smart contracts, Multi-signature and MPC wallets, Tokenized fundraising models (ICOs, STOs, etc.)
• Play a key role in shaping the future of AI-native crypto wallets
• Work with an ambitious, product-first team building real infrastructure
• Gain flexible work arrangements and high-impact responsibilities
• Compensation via success fee model tied to fundraising outcomes
