About the role
We’re seeking a talented Gen AI Copywriter to join our creative agency team, working primarily on the client’s account. This role combines cutting-edge AI technology with creative copywriting to deliver exceptional B2B finance content.
As Copywriter you will be taking creative projects from brief to completion, working as a part of our dedicated agency team. You’re a leader who can own your projects and execute them efficiently and effectively to deliver copywriting quality, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring that all content follows channel-specific best practices and requirements.
This role will work closely with the Integrated Designer to provide new ideas and creativity whilst working closely with the client’s brand guidelines and will manage the day-to-day running of projects, working within specified timeframes and budgets.
Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, the Copywriter sits in a team of 11. The team will be required to work in the client’s office twice a week or as required.
What you will be doing
- Create compelling, conversion-focused copy for Airwallex’s B2B finance solutions using AI copywriting tools, particularly Pencil
- Develop and maintain the client’s brand voice across multiple channels including web, email, social media, and marketing materials
- Craft narratives that simplify complex financial products and services for business audiences
- Collaborate with designers, strategists, and client stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns
- Optimize copy performance based on data insights and feedback
- Stay ahead of Gen AI copywriting trends and continuously improve your craft
- Balance AI-generated content with human creativity and strategic thinking
- Deliver briefs from brainstorm to completion, working collaboratively across teams on ideation, creation, and execution
- Producing engaging and innovative work for our client’s digital, social, video, email
- Writing creative and innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharing
- Writing for a wide variety of digital executions, including short and longform content
- Adapting and optimising existing content for use across various channels
- Staying up-to-date with emerging social, content, and cultural trends
- Defining or adapting brand language and tone while adhering to brand guidelines and complying with all legal, medical, and regulatory requirements
- Overseeing and managing the preparation of all finished files, complying with the correct output specifications
- Following projects throughout all stages of production and online deployment
What you need to be great in this role
- Strong experience writing for digital and social engagement, with 5+ years of experience
- The ability to think conceptually when needed. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) or in collaboration with other creative team members
- Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences
- Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members and clients
- Excellent written English, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- A self-starter with a high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm to learn more
- Highly creative and imaginative, and able to translate client’s marketing and sales objectives into creative ideas and copy
- Researchers who can be up to date with trends in digital and social media and communication
- Ability to effectively integrate design feedback/critique into work
- Experience and comfort working directly with clients as needed
- Proactive and independent, able to effectively time-manage projects and Agile capability
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
- Strong organisational and proofreading skills
- Natural, respectful collaborator across all departments and functions
