Our client, a respected design‑led furnishing fabrics brand with proud heritage and big ambitions, is backed by fresh investment and an international ownership team, ready to scale—fast.

We’re looking for a commercially sharp, people‑first General Manager – Textile Furnishing Fabrics to help take this thriving 7‑figure business into the 8‑figure future it deserves.

Base pay: £60,000 + performance opportunity. Full‑time, permanent. Hybrid: 2 days office / 3 days visiting customers & sales team.

The Opportunity

  • Set and drive a strategic growth plan based on a clear, objective review of the business.
  • Grow turnover and profit through customer development and new business generation.
  • Build, energise and coach a high‑performing sales team (UK and export).
  • Own budgeting, forecasting and business planning, ensuring targets are met and opportunities maximised.
  • Strengthen major customer relationships and expand the brand’s market reach.
  • Develop marketing and PR direction to enhance brand presence in the UK and globally.

The Right candidate

  • Significant senior leadership experience in furnishing fabrics / interior textiles.
  • A track record of building sales and profit at GM/Director level.
  • Strong customer and relationship management instincts.
  • The confidence to lead strategically and roll up your sleeves operationally.
