Summary

We’re looking for a talented Generative AI Consultant to join a software development firm and help design, implement, and scale cutting-edge AI products. This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll shape the strategy and delivery of GenAI-powered features and platforms that drive innovation and growth for their software solutions.

Objectives

  • Define and execute the company’s Generative AI roadmap.
  • Research and integrate the latest LLM and ML technologies into our products.
  • Guide product and engineering teams on model selection, prompt engineering, fine-tuning and deployment.
  • Ensure AI features are secure, scalable, and ethically designed.

Responsibilities

  • Assess product and data needs to identify high-impact GenAI use cases.
  • Build and optimise AI pipelines (data prep, model training/fine-tuning, deployment, monitoring).
  • Integrate models into our software platforms and APIs.
  • Advise on emerging tools, frameworks and best practices in responsible AI.
  • Mentor internal engineers to raise AI capability across the team.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise with LLMs, NLP, and Generative AI frameworks (e.g. OpenAI, LangChain).
  • Strong Python engineering background; experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or GCP Vertex AI.
  • Understanding of data engineering for AI (vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, MLOps).
  • Knowledge of AI governance, compliance and security.
  • Excellent communication and ability to influence technical direction.
