Job Details

Position: Earth Sciences Expert (Olympiad or PhD)

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $52.5/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 1–2 months

Commitment: 10–20 hours/week, flexible and asynchronous

Role Responsibilities

Training support will be provided

• Conduct research to identify advanced earth sciences questions and resources in any language
• Curate and organize scientific materials into structured datasets
• Ensure scientific accuracy and appropriate difficulty of sourced content
• Extract detailed reasoning frameworks and analyses from academic and international sources

Requirements

• Medallist or participant in the International Earth Science Olympiad (preferred) OR PhD in any subfield of earth sciences
• Strong ability to evaluate the rigor and complexity of earth sciences problems
• Multilingual skills or experience working with international earth sciences resources is a plus
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported)
