Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Hawkwood is excited to be partnering with a leading multinational fintech scale-up, on a critical new hire as their first Global Head of People Partnering. With an award winning platform and a mission to transform access to financial markets, this business combines cutting edge AI with a customer centric approach to help people achieve their financial goals.
With a global presence across the UK, EMEA, and APAC, and backed by impressive financial performance, the company is entering their next phase of growth. This is an opportunity to join at a pivotal point and be part of the future of the People Partnering function at an international scale.
The role:
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you’ll operate at a highly strategic level, partnering closely with senior leadership and building a world-class People Partnering team. If you’re motivated by the idea of scaling global people functions, driving impactful initiatives, and embedding a high performance culture, this could be the perfect role.
Key priorities:
- Shape and deliver a cohesive, future-fit global People Partnering strategy that is fully aligned with the organisation’s commercial priorities and long term objectives
- Lead the evolution of workforce planning, succession pipelines, and organisational design initiatives across international hubs, ensuring scalability and agility in response to growth
- Operate as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, offering data-driven insights into workforce dynamics, talent performance, and the wider people landscape to inform business-critical decisions
Talent Development & Performance
- Oversee the design and execution of global onboarding, leadership development, and continuous learning frameworks that accelerate talent readiness and embed a growth mindset at every level
- Champion a high-performance culture by refining performance enablement processes, driving accountability, and embedding continuous feedback mechanisms
- Ensure talent strategies are aligned with both immediate business needs and longer-term capability requirements across a globally dispersed workforce
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Architect and lead global engagement initiatives that enhance employee experience, support cultural cohesion, and drive retention across diverse markets
- Take a proactive and strategic approach to employee relations, balancing commercial risk with compliance and fostering a culture of fairness, trust, and inclusion across all jurisdictions
- Maintain and evolve global People policies and frameworks that reflect the company’s values and ensure operational consistency during scale
Operational Excellence & Programme Delivery
- Spearhead the delivery of critical people initiatives, including the redefinition of the EVP, organisational design transformation, and other cross-functional projects with executive visibility
- Identify and embed process enhancements that elevate the efficiency, consistency, and scalability of People operations globally
- Cultivate strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing across regional People teams, building a unified function that is agile, high performing, and aligned with the business’s international ambitions
What are we looking for from you?
- A Proven global leadership experience within a People Partnering function, ideally as a Head or Director, covering EMEA, APAC, or similar regions
- Experience in a Fintech or scaling tech background with a clear understanding of the demands of growth environments
- Track record of designing and delivering strategic people initiatives including EVP, organisational design, performance management and workforce planning
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead end-to-end delivery and coordinate across regions and stakeholders
- Commercially minded and data-informed leader with a strategic and analytical approach
- A Trusted partner to senior leadership with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and pace bringing structure, clarity and direction
- A team builder passionate about developing People Partners and driving exceptional behaviours
