Leading global consultancy seeks a Global Regulatory Lawyer to join their highly skilled global in-house legal team.
About the Role
This is a newly created Associate Director position to join a supportive and dynamic team. The role involves being the Regulatory legal lead on a broad range of UK and EU regulations, including but not limited to the EU AI Act, NIS2, sanctions, ESG, modern slavery, DORA, horizon scanning for new developments, and advising on all new potential compliance obligations. The role includes instructing and working with external counsel and collaborating with colleagues in the Global team and across international offices.
There will be opportunities to support various business functions and to serve as the regulatory legal lead for Europe and the UK, with potential expansion to other jurisdictions. This position offers a unique chance to provide strategic input to shape and oversee the global regulatory function, with excellent career progression prospects and the opportunity to join a collegiate, friendly, and well-regarded legal team.
Qualifications
You should have over 10 years' PQE with a UK or European legal qualification as a solicitor or qualified attorney, with proven experience, ideally gained in-house at a global organization leading regulatory projects and partnering with business and compliance teams. A broad regulatory practice and a strong private practice background at a top-tier City law firm are important.

The ideal candidate will be versatile, efficient, credible, persuasive, and capable of prioritizing and adapting to changing circumstances in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
