The Role

This is a varied and hands‑on role that will give you a deep insight into international trade and export controls. You will work with departments across Engineering, Programmes, Commercial and Shipping, supporting processes that keep the business compliant with global regulations.

What You’ll Do

• Learn how to classify goods, technology and services under UK, US and international trade controls.
• Help prepare export licence applications using specialist online systems.
• Support documentation, data management and shipment processes.
• Gain exposure to the practical side of trade compliance, working alongside experienced colleagues in a highly supportive environment.

About You

You will have a degree in Economics, Politics, Business or a related field and a genuine interest in how international trade and regulation shape global business.

You will also bring:

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working across teams.
• Curiosity about global affairs and the products manufactured by our client.

Experience in an office or compliance environment would be a bonus but isn’t essential; full training will be provided.
