Attention all Graduate Mechanical Design Engineers!

We are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join a building services engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. This is a great opportunity to work on an exciting mix of projects such as commercial, retail, logics, and industrial.

–Salary ranging from 32,000– 37,000 (depending on experience).

–Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

–Manage your workload to meet deadlines, monitor project costs, and understand the impact of design decisions on budgets.

–Attend meetings, represent your discipline professionally, and communicate effectively with clients and project teams.

–Carry out site and condition surveys, respond to site queries, and prepare clear technical reports and documentation.

–Produce and coordinate designs, calculations, schedules, and specifications, ensuring compliance with project standards and CDM regulations.

–Support sustainability in designs, assist with inspections and commissioning, and contribute to client satisfaction and future business opportunities.

What we are looking for:

–A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline).

–Strong interest in sustainable design and low–carbon technologies.

–Familiarity with industry design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, IES, Hevacomp) is desirable.

–Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem–solving skills.

–Eagerness to learn, grow, and work towards professional Chartership.
