Grafana specialist - Senior Data Engineer/ Business Analyst. Trading Firm. 6 month rolling contract. £700/ Day Inside IR35. Hybrid 2/3 Days a week in Central London office.

My client is a top tier London City based trading firm that is looking for a Grafana Data Engineer/ Business Analyst.

Essentially they are looking for someone that has done a lot of internal systems monitoring in Grafana, ideally for a trading firm.

Other skills like Azure, generally the Microsoft stack and python would be beneficial.

Summary of requirement:

• This is part of a new greenfield resilience project
• Due to the distributed nature of my clients systems that are used by a variety of teams, they have a new project that they are hiring for
• This is all about reporting on their internal systems
• They need someone that can understand API responses, data outage instances etc and report on a front end which will be rolled out to traders and other business users.
• There are two parts to this project. The first part (and where the BA element of the role comes in) is to scope out how to interrogate the systems, which metrics are pulled out, how to set things up and then build the visualisation
• (the Data Analyst/ technical part of the role)
• A lot of the data will be notifications from internal systems and it is about the monitoring of these
• There are looking to build this all in Grafana
• They are yet to decide weather this will be on the cloud or on prem
