Group Accountant (9-Month Maternity Cover)

Location: Street, Somerset (Hybrid)

Purpose: Prepare monthly group financial reports and manage the fixed asset function.

Key Responsibilities Group Reporting

• Prepare monthly consolidation for multiple entities under IFRS.
• Produce exchange rate summaries and group reporting schedules.
• Act as the main contact for auditors regarding group reporting.
• Support the year-end audit.

Fixed Assets

• Manage the Fixed Asset and Inventory Accountant.
• Prepare fixed asset disclosures for interim and year-end reports.
• Review ownership reports and fixed asset registers.
• Process monthly intangible asset adjustments.

Other Duties

• Support process improvements with the Finance Systems Controller.
• Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and SAP system testing.

Skills & Experience

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in group consolidations.
• Strong SAP and Excel skills.
• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organisation.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
