OverviewWe have a newly created Financial Controller position for a US-listed life sciences and pharmaceutical business. You will join the finance leadership team in this high-profile role with exposure to a rapidly growing and innovative sector. The company offers hybrid working and an excellent package and benefits.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee group financial reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and all SEC requirements.Manage the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes, delivering accurate and timely consolidated financial statements.Drive the group audit process and maintain strong relationships with external auditors.Implement and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial systems to support scale and growth.Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on technical accounting matters, acquisitions, and strategic projects.Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, instilling best practices across reporting, controls, and compliance.Candidate ProfileQualified Accountant (ACA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent) with a strong technical grounding.Significant experience in US GAAP and ideally SEC reporting within a listed environment.Background in life sciences, pharma, biotech, or another fast-paced, global sector is preferred; other US company sector experience is also considered.Track record of managing group consolidations and leading audits.Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture.Why Apply?This role offers the chance to join an ambitious, forward-thinking business at a pivotal stage of growth.
