Overview of the positionReporting to the Operations Director for the company.Providing strategic (and hands on when needed) direction and advice across the multiple sites within a family owned, corporate light organisation where health and safety is seen as top priority.Inspire the board and come up with new ideas to promote and accelerate H&S to ensure the company is managing proactively.Take the company and individual sites, on a cultural journey.To develop, maintain, audit and ensure current and future legal compliance of the Group H&S management system. Supporting their EcoVardis certification.Management of multiple sites, to empower and drive accountability downwards for H&S.Act as a source of best practice, information and advice for the Group Board and Factory General Managers.To advise on H&S in group projects, training, auditing and risk assessments.To act as the Group first point of contact for all Health & Safety matters with external agencies and bodies.Essential Qualifications and ExperienceNEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is essential for this positionPrior management of multiple sitesIdeally seeking a candidate with food or wider FMCG manufacturing experience as well as experience in motivating and inspiring others.Essential characteristics and personality traitsLooking for someone to lead from the front, support and direct the site leads to take accountability and drive ownership downwards.Looking for someone to empower the site as well as inspire board level and offer visualisationResilient and innovative in their approachCredible, positive and passionateCompensation and LocationSalary: Dependent on experience, up to £85,000 per annum + £6,600 car allowance + BonusLocation: Northamptonshire – base site, with regular travelInterested?Apply now for immediate consideration: sophia.darwin@hserecruitment.co.uk or call 0121 454 5000Alternatively, if you know of anyone who may be interested in this opportunity, please forward on our details. #J-18808-Ljbffr
