You’ll join a small, high-performing team within Group Health Data & AI, working closely with our Market and Business Units to identify opportunities, accelerate adoption, and ensure AI is embedded in the way we deliver care.This is a unique opportunity to influence how AI improves doctor-patient interactions, enhances operational efficiency, and ultimately helps us deliver better outcomes for our customers. You’ll be a key voice in our global AI community, helping to guide strategy, share knowledge, and raise the profile of AI across Bupa.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead the execution of global AI projects across Bupa’s Market and Business Units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals* Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess their fit for enterprise adoption* Support reuse of AI assets and architectures across geographies and operating models* Horizon-scan for new opportunities in frontier AI and communicate insights to senior leadership* Oversee programme-level delivery, including governance, planning and reporting* Facilitate collaboration between global and local teams to share knowledge and build capability* Represent Bupa’s Health Data & AI team at external events and conferences* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, influencing both technical and non-technical audiences**What We’re Looking For**We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about the potential of AI in healthcare and has the experience to make it happen.**Qualifications and experience:*** Graduate degree (e.g. BA, BSc, MEng) or higher (e.g. PhD)* Proven leadership in data science, engineering or AI roles* Experience working in multinational environments or consulting, with a track record of delivering results through collaboration**Skills and attributes:*** Strong understanding of AI technologies like machine learning, NLP, and computer vision* Strategic thinker with the ability to guide technical teams and foster innovation* Excellent communicator who can tailor messages for different audiences* Commercially minded, with the ability to align AI initiatives to business goals* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, international environment* Organised, resilient, and curious with a drive to make an impact**Benefits**Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
