As part of our continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented, self-motivated, Head of Bids to join our successful team. You will have a strong background preferably in Occupational Health and related services, be articulate, have good influencing skills, well organised and a successful track record in bid management. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter lead and manage our bid function, ensuring the continued success of our tendering activities. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and ensure the end-to-end bid process, ensure we produce consistently high quality and compelling proposals and tenders, and help us secure new opportunities while upholding the high standards that define our business. You will mentor and manage the existing team, including workload allocation and ensure consistency of our outputs and adoption of win strategies per client.

• Lead and manage a successful bid team, providing coaching and guidance to optimise quality, maximise outcomes, and maintain a high win rate.

• Develop and implement effective bid strategies aligned with sales leads, ensuring consistent, succinct, and impactful submissions that demonstrate value and benefits.

• Oversee workload planning, workflow management, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery and quality review of bids.

• Drive continuous improvement, leveraging AI, best practices, case studies, and innovative service initiatives to enhance bid outputs.

• Line-manage bid writers, fostering engagement, retention, and productivity while maintaining a collaborative and motivational environment.

• In conjunction with e the team, ensure our bids adopt new ways of working and service innovation to ensure we remain ahead of our peers

• Ensure comprehensive and accurate completion of EOI, PQQ, and bid-related data within agreed timeframes.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic leader with a proven track record in bid management and a passion for driving high-quality outcomes. You will have the ability to coach and inspire bid teams, working collaboratively to optimise performance and maintain a strong win rate. A continuous improvement mindset is essential, along with the ability to interpret and implement win strategies that align with sales objectives and add clear value. You should be skilled in workload planning, resource allocation, and ensuring bids are delivered on time and to the highest standard. Experience / interest in leveraging AI, best practices, and innovative approaches to enhance outputs is highly desirable. Strong leadership and line management capabilities are key, as is a commitment to fostering engagement, motivation, and productivity within your team. Experience in the Occupational Health (OH) sector is preferable. The hours for this role are 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm. This role is home based, therefore you will need to ensure you have a suitable space you can work from at home. The salary for this role is competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience.
