Position: Head of Business Development – Commercial
Location: South of England (Nationwide offices available)
Reporting to: Senior Leadership Team
The Head of Business Development – Commercial will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of IT Managed Services within the UK commercial sector. This brand-new role provides the opportunity to shape and own the business development strategy, building long-term partnerships with mid-market and enterprise clients, and delivering sustainable revenue and margin growth.
The successful candidate will bring expertise in IT Managed Services and related solutions (cloud, cyber security, digital transformation), with the ability to identify, secure, and develop new commercial opportunities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Market Development: Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue growth in the commercial sector.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities across commercial markets.
- Industry Presence: Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Education & Experience: Proven track record in business development or commercial leadership within IT Managed Services, Cloud, or Cyber Security.
- Skills & Expertise: Strong understanding of managed IT services, infrastructure, cloud solutions, and cyber security.
- Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven approach.
Performance Metrics
- Annual revenue and margin growth achieved.
- Value and number of new client contracts secured.
- Expansion of market share within the UK commercial sector.
