As Head of Communications for the UK & Ireland, you will lead all strategic and operational communications activities across external media and internal channels. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring a confident and experienced communications professional with a strong understanding of the GSI/IT Services industry. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and external agencies, managing a team and overseeing high-impact campaigns, brand reputation, media relations, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a UK&I communications strategy aligned with the company’s commercial and brand goals
- Drive both external and internal communications including media relations, CSR, and sponsorship activations
- Manage media perception, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement across the UK&I region
- Oversee a team including a Content Executive, Internal Comms Executive, and a PR agency
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing coaching and strategic comms support
- Lead on reputational risk management and crisis communication strategy
- Deliver compelling content around customer success, corporate initiatives, and thought leadership
- Coordinate with global communications teams to ensure consistent messaging
Key Skills & Experience:
- Must have worked for a leading Global Systems Integrator (GSI), IT Services, or Consulting firm
- Proven track record in senior communications leadership roles
- Strong UK media and public relations experience
- Expertise in brand reputation management, crisis communications, and internal engagement
- Experience managing teams and agency relationships
- Confident advising senior stakeholders and navigating complex organisations
- Experience in leveraging major sponsorship or CSR programmes for brand visibility
- Background in both in-house and agency communications settings
Salary: £100,000–£110,000 + Benefits
