As the Head of Compliance for Market Area Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), you will have overall responsibility to lead a team of compliance officers in a dynamic and exciting region. You will be serving a diverse set of business and organizational units across the region and partnering with business stakeholders to implement Ericsson’s Ethics and Compliance program and drive accountability for compliance throughout the business.

As the Head of Compliance for Market Area Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), you will have overall responsibility to lead a team of compliance officers in a dynamic and exciting region. You will be serving a diverse set of business and organizational units across the region and partnering with business stakeholders to implement Ericsson’s Ethics and Compliance program and drive accountability for compliance throughout the business.

Ericsson’s Compliance Office, under the leadership of the Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Investigations, has responsibility for all components of Ericsson’s Ethics and Compliance Program. The program covers compliance with our Code of Business Ethics and subject matters including anti-fraud, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-terrorism, and identification of emerging risks. You will also be called to support on matters in other teams addressing sanctions and export controls, antitrust, human rights, and anti-money laundering. As Head of Compliance for the Market Area, you will be responsible for driving an integrity-led culture across the region and implementing key Ethics & Compliance policies and procedures. You will report to the Chief Compliance Officer & Head of Investigations, and you will collaborate with other compliance and legal colleagues on matters such as training and communication initiatives, risk assessments, third party due diligence and monitoring, and implementing remediation arising out of investigations. You will prepare analyses and report to stakeholders, including senior managers, about the effectiveness of the ethics & compliance program.

In this exciting role, you will lead and ensure the development of a diverse team of Compliance Officers, setting expectations and managing performance. You will guide them in partnering with business stakeholders to make sound judgments, implementing the compliance program and supporting effective risk management throughout the company.

The role is hybrid with an “office first” approach (in office approximately 60%) and can be located in any city in EMEA with an Ericsson office.
