About the role

As Head of Early Years, you’ll define and deliver the vision for growth across this vital sector. You’ll be at the forefront of setting strategy, spotting opportunities, and driving innovation, ensuring our clients and educators receive an exceptional experience. From shaping workforce planning and service design to representing us at sector events and forging influential partnerships, you’ll be the go-to leader for Early Years recruitment. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and branches nationwide to deliver ambitious growth plans, strengthen client portfolios, and ensure we’re ahead of sector changes in policy, funding, and workforce needs. This is a high-profile role where your expertise and leadership will directly influence the future success of our Early Years strategy.

We’re looking for a leader who

  • Brings proven senior experience in Early Years, childcare, education, or recruitment.
  • Has a strong track record in driving business growth, building partnerships, and developing solutions that meet client and workforce needs.
  • Combines strategic vision with hands-on operational know-how.
  • Can inspire and coach high-performing teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusion.
  • Understands the Early Years sector deeply – from workforce and funding challenges to safeguarding requirements.
  • Is commercially sharp, data-driven, and confident influencing stakeholders at all levels.
