We’re a fast-growing SaaS business powering mission-critical solutions for global brands. Backed by a leading growth investor, we’re entering an exciting new phase – scaling our platform, launching new products, and expanding into new markets.

We’re now looking for a Head of Engineering to evolve our core platform for performance, scalability, and security. You’ll lead technical strategy while staying close to the code, shaping architecture, and driving best practices across a high-performing engineering team.

What you’ll do

• Scale a high-traffic SaaS platform – improve reliability, latency, and fault tolerance
• Lead platform architecture for cloud-native (AWS/GCP) distributed systems
• Collaborate with product & data teams to deliver AI-driven analytics and new features
• Optimise infrastructure with DevOps for cost, performance & resiliency
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar on code quality, observability & engineering culture

What we’re looking for

• 8+ years backend/full-stack engineering, with 3+ in a technical leadership/architecture role
• Proven experience scaling SaaS or other high-traffic platforms
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems (microservices, queues, caching)
• Strong experience with Python or Go
• Cloud-native architecture expertise (AWS or GCP)
• Shape the future of a platform used globally
• Work in a collaborative, flexible environment with real autonomy
