  • Own the asset management strategy, with accountability for performance, compliance, and risk across all asset types.
  • Provide senior oversight to asset management roles and chair governance forums to manage KPIs, risk registers, and portfolio-level compliance.
  • Ensure safe and effective execution of engineering processes across all sites and project phases, from concept to end-of-life.
  • Act as final technical authority, approving major interventions and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement, embedding Lean methodologies and fostering a culture of resilience and high performance.
  • Build and inspire a high-performing team, integrating talent from the JFR Academy and promoting professional development.
  • Manage the engineering budget, develop technology partnerships, and represent JFR’s technical capability to clients and stakeholders.

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical, Power, or Energy Engineering (or related discipline); Chartered Engineer (CEng) status strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership in engineering and asset management across HV transmission (132‑400 kV), turbine blades, and offshore wind assets within OFTO, TSO, or generator environments.
  • Deep expertise in asset management (ISO 55001), with strong data governance and hands‑on experience using WMS/CMMS systems.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management across multi‑site operations, with solid commercial acumen and ROI‑driven decision‑making.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks including Grid Code, STC, and marine licensing; exceptional stakeholder leadership and executive‑level communication.
