Overview

Head of Finance role for a fintech business in London. We are seeking a commercially-minded finance leader who thrives in fast-growing, dynamic environments and will take ownership of the finance function from day one, working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team.

Our client is scaling quickly and needs a proactive Head of Finance.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing board and shareholder reporting, including monthly management accounts, KPIs and commentary.
• Developing business plans, budgets, rolling forecasts and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Partnering with the CFO, CEO and C-suite on growth planning and strategic partnerships.
• Supporting shareholder communication and planning/running future capital events.
• Preparing statutory accounts and regulatory returns, and leading the audit process.
• Overseeing tax planning and reporting with external advisers.

What we’re looking for

• A qualified accountant with experience in UK regulated financial services and/or fintech.
• Broad finance experience and the ability to run the finance function from day one.
• A commercially-minded approach and the confidence to contribute to company decision-making.
• Someone who can grow with us and develop into a future leader of the finance function.
