My client is a Social Housing organisation who are focused on transformation and growth

Description

  • Responsible for managing and developing the finance department
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and trustees.
  • Driving business partnering agenda
  • Reviewing processes and procedures and making change
  • Manage cash flow and monitor financial risks effectively.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team to maintain high performance.
  • Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as necessary.

Profile

  • Professional accounting qualifications, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Must have either regulatory background or social housing exposure
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reporting processes effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide teams and advise stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Offer

  • £500 - £600 a day
  • 6 month interim assignment
  • Hybrid working - 1 day a week in the office
