Description
- Responsible for managing and developing the finance department
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and trustees.
- Driving business partnering agenda
- Reviewing processes and procedures and making change
- Manage cash flow and monitor financial risks effectively.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team to maintain high performance.
- Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
Profile
- Professional accounting qualifications, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Must have either regulatory background or social housing exposure
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reporting processes effectively.
- Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide teams and advise stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Job Offer
- £500 - £600 a day
- 6 month interim assignment
- Hybrid working - 1 day a week in the office
