As the Head of Finance this role will ensure that all Finance and Accounting functions are carried out in a way which supports the strategic objectives of the Company. This role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting and analysis, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Description

• Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
• Support and mentor the finance team to achieve their professional goals.

A Successful Head Of Finance Should Have

• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in managing teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• A growth mindset and adaptable approach.
