Head of Finance – FMCG | £130,000–£140,000 +bonus & benefits | London (Hybrid)

A dynamic and high-growth FMCG business is seeking a commercially astute Head of Finance to lead its finance function through the next phase of expansion. This is a hybrid role based in London and offers a unique opportunity to join a brand-led organisation with a strong international presence. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly into the CFO, with responsibility for financial reporting, team leadership, and business partnering across all areas of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of group financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal governance standards
  • Own the month-end and year-end close process across multiple entities
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning in partnership with commercial teams
  • Drive continuous improvement of internal financial controls and processes
  • Lead and develop a growing finance team across financial and management accounting
  • Support strategic decision-making, including expansion, investment appraisals, and scenario modelling
  • Be the key point of contact for external auditors, banks, and tax advisors

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong technical accounting background, ideally with listed or international group experience
  • Demonstrable experience in group consolidation, IFRS, and reporting in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Previous exposure to the FMCG or consumer products sector is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Hands-on, proactive, and commercially minded
