A respected and impactful charity with operations extending beyond Glasgow is seeking a Head of Financial Operations to join its senior leadership team. This is a pivotal, permanent position offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy and support meaningful work across the organisation.

As the most senior finance professional, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Executive Team. You’ll play a critical role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and embedding a culture of financial excellence across all areas of the charity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on financial strategy, planning, and reporting

• Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making

• Collaborate closely with the CEO and Executive Team to align financial and organisational goals

• Oversee the charity’s financial operations, controls, and risk management

• Promote financial best practices and capacity building across the organisation

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Senior-level experience in finance leadership, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector

• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders

• A strong understanding of charity finance regulations and governance

• A strategic mindset, with hands-on capability

This role is offered on a flexible, part-time basis (3 days per week), with a supportive hybrid working policy.
