Interim Head of FP&A

Hybrid Working | South West England HQ (easily commutable from Bristol, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, and surrounding areas)

Are you a commercially minded finance leader seeking real autonomy and influence in a fast-paced, high-performing environment? This pivotal Interim Head of FP&A role offers the opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly management reporting cycle, elevating report clarity and insight for both executive leadership and PE stakeholders
• Own and refine the annual budgeting process, enhancing efficiency and stakeholder collaboration
• Design and oversee an agile forecasting framework with timely, actionable projections
• Deliver analytical insights that drive commercial decision-making and operational improvements
• Partner with the executive team and investors, crafting compelling financial narratives aligned with growth and consolidation plans
• Mentor and develop a growing FP&A team
• Lead data quality and systems initiatives to enhance analytical capability and reporting precision
• Act as a key strategic finance partner within the wider leadership team

What We're Looking For

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong leadership experience, ideally managing FP&A or commercial finance teams of 5-10
• 5+ years FP&A experience in multi-site or complex environments
• Track record in a private equity-backed, high-growth or consolidation environment
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement ability
• Strong Excel and FP&A systems skills
• Ability to translate complex data into compelling insights and narratives
• Proven process improvement and data enhancement capability
