Join a trail blazing FinTech embarking on a period of significant growth and international expansion as the Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance. This is a pivotal role in a collaborative business with very exciting product development plans.

Duties include:

• Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of GRC frameworks aligned with industry standards and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory and information security risks.
• Manage compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and uphold certifications (e.g. FCA, ISO 27001).
• Oversee data protection and information security policies, including incident response and breach management.
• Plan and deliver risk-based audit schedules to identify improvements and monitor follow-up actions.
• Evaluate new business initiatives for potential compliance risks and advise on mitigations.
• Work collaboratively with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organisation to promote a strong risk and compliance culture.
• Advise product and technology teams to ensure ongoing compliance of products and new product launches.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience leading a team and implementing GRC initiatives in a dynamic tech / fintech / data driven company.
• Demonstrable experience in the application of GRC principles in a scaling business.
• In depth knowledge of information security / ISO27001 accreditation.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations / DPA 2018 & GDPR
• Effectively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure GRC obligations are met and understood.

Salary: £90-100,000 + bonus and benefits
