About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, senior HR leader to join Skipton Business Finance as our Head of HR. You will be a strategic partner to the Executive Committee, leading the People Function, and aligning our people strategy with our corporate goals. Your focus will be on building a positive culture, enabling change, and delivering impact through effective people management.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the Executive Committee to embed and deliver the people strategy.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to influence and advise on cultural and HR matters.
- Design and implement commercially focused HR solutions aligned with best practices.
- Utilize data insights to inform decisions in resourcing, reward, performance, and talent management.
- Lead talent attraction, development, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Develop and promote organizational culture and inclusive behaviors throughout the company.
Requirements
- Extensive HR experience across multiple disciplines, especially Reward.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of industry challenges.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Proven leadership and coaching abilities, especially at senior levels.
- Experience in matrix organizations and transformational change.
- Relevant degree or HR qualification; additional certifications are a plus.
