The Belong Impact List is our flagship recognition platform. It celebrates the people whose voices, work, and presence create real social value by championing inclusion, courage, and authenticity.

The Role

We are seeking a Head of Impact to lead the strategy, measurement, and storytelling of the Belong Impact List. This is a high-profile and purpose-driven role, focused on ensuring that the Impact List not only celebrates stories but also drives measurable change in workplaces, communities, and wider society.

You will be the guardian of the Impact List’s credibility, influence, and growth – building frameworks that demonstrate the real-world impact of those we celebrate, and ensuring Belong’s recognition work shapes conversations on belonging, diversity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Impact Strategy: Design and lead the long-term vision for the Belong Impact List, aligning it with Belong’s mission of recognition, belonging, and inclusion.
  • Measurement & Evaluation: Develop frameworks to measure the reach, influence, and outcomes of the Impact List, creating transparent impact reports for stakeholders and partners.
  • Storytelling: Work with honourees, partners, and the media team to amplify stories from the List and communicate the platform’s influence in compelling ways.
  • Partnerships & Stakeholders: Engage with sponsors, industry bodies, and community groups to ensure the Impact List remains relevant, respected, and well-supported.
  • Events & Engagement: Play a central role in the annual Impact List celebration, panel discussions, and related activations, ensuring they reflect our values and drive meaningful conversations.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Belong externally – at events, panels, and in media – as a thought leader in recognition, belonging, and social impact.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Passion for Purpose: Deep commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and the power of recognition.
  • Strategic Thinking: Experience designing and leading impact or social value strategies within organisations, campaigns, or movements.
  • Analytical Strength: Strong skills in impact measurement, reporting, and turning data into insight.
  • Storytelling Ability: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to craft compelling narratives that inspire action.
  • Influence & Presence: Comfortable representing Belong externally, from community groups to senior corporate partners.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A people-first leader who thrives in partnerships and team environments.
