Head of Information Governance and Business Intelligence

We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Head of Information Governance and Business Intelligence Lead to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to shape how information is managed, protected and transformed into insights that drive decision-making and patient care.

Main duties of the job

The Information Governanceand Business Intelligence Lead will oversee all aspects of information governance, data protectioncompliance, and business intelligence within the Hospice. This role ensures theHospice complies with legal and regulatory data standards while enabling thestrategic use of data to drive operational efficiency, effectiveness, andorganisational insight.

A key part of this roleinvolves leading the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) submissionprocess as well as working closely with clinical colleagues to presentaccurate, timely, and actionable data via dashboards and performance reports.

An essentialresponsibility of this role is to ensure the organisation meets the CareQuality Commission (CQC)s regulatory requirements, on data, evidence, andcompliance.
