This role is a 12-month contract inside IR35 in Buckinghamshire (2–3 days on site). A newly appointed CIO is driving a major transformation to modernise and commercialise technology operations.

Responsibilities

As Head of Technology Operations, you’ll take ownership of service delivery, infrastructure and business systems — leading the move from a legacy, ITIL-led environment to a modern, service-based and customer-centric model. You’ll help reshape how technology delivers value, embedding a commercial mindset and driving measurable improvement in performance and user experience.

• Lead and modernise Technology Operations across Service Desk, Infrastructure and Business Systems
• Embed a service-first, commercial culture that delivers tangible business value
• Drive efficiency, automation and process improvement
• Partner with Security, Product and Transformation teams to deliver strategic change

Ideal Candidate

An experienced Technology Operations leader with deep Microsoft expertise and a track record of transforming legacy environments into customer-focused, service-led operations.
