Overview

Head of IT Projects — Bath, Wiltshire (3 days a week onsite). Salary: Up to £100,000 DOE. Our client, a growing MSP, seeks a commercially focused Head of Projects to lead its technical strategy, project delivery, and consultancy services. This senior leadership role requires strong experience in solutions architecture with deep expertise in cloud (Azure), Microsoft 365, and hybrid infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the technical and consultancy strategy
• Oversee all project and consultancy delivery
• Lead and develop a high-performing team
• Support sales with presales consultancy and solution design
• Ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially viable
• Stay hands-on with projects addressing key client needs and critical deadlines. This role requires high-level implementation skills across cloud platforms (Azure), Microsoft 365, and hybrid infrastructure to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet business objectives

Qualifications

• Proven senior consultancy/solutions architecture experience in an MSP is essential
• Strong technical expertise in Azure, M365, on-prem, and hybrid infrastructure
• Experience managing project and technical teams
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred
