Industry: Technology / Logistics Platform Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3–6 months About the Role A fast-growing European logistics technology company operating a B2B delivery platform used by major retailers and partners across Europe is seeking an experienced Head of Legal to support its UK operations. This is an interim role offering a dynamic mix of legal advisory, commercial, and strategic responsibilities within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary legal contact for the UK business, advising on a broad range of matters. Manage a varied caseload including:
Employment law (approx. 40%) – advising on issues relating to a large network of self‑employed couriers, workforce arrangements, and general HR support. Litigation (approx. 25%) – overseeing disputes and managing external counsel as required. General commercial and corporate matters (approx. 35%) – including contract review, compliance, and risk management.
Partner closely with business stakeholders, providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice. Support cross‑border matters in coordination with the wider European legal function. Proactively manage legal risk while enabling operational and commercial objectives.
About You
UK-qualified solicitor with significant post-qualification experience (in‑house or private practice). Professional/native French language skills required to liaise effectively with colleagues across France and Europe. Strong background in employment law and litigation, with broader commercial experience. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act as a trusted business partner and explain complex legal issues clearly and concisely. Comfortable working in a fast-moving tech or logistics environment with hybrid working across teams. Available to start at short notice.
