We provide a supportive, strategic environment where successful women can share insights, tackle challenges, and accelerate their business growth through structured peer advisory board sessions.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an exceptional Head of Membership Development to spearhead the expansion of FAB across Yorkshire. This is a brand new, ground-floor opportunity to build relationships with approximately 5,000 female business leaders in the region who operate businesses with £1M+ turnover.

As our Head of Membership Development (Yorkshire), you'll be the face of our premium brand, identifying and engaging high-calibre female leaders who would benefit from our exclusive peer advisory model.

Responsibilities

Member Acquisition & Relationship Building

  • Identify and target female business leaders across Yorkshire operating businesses with £1M+ turnover
  • Attend 15-20+ networking events monthly across the Yorkshire region to build relationships and raise FAB's profile
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective members through strategic networking and referrals
  • Conduct compelling discovery conversations to understand prospects' business challenges and growth aspirations

Sales & Business Development

  • Articulate the unique value proposition of FAB's peer advisory model to senior female executives
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations that demonstrate deep understanding of the challenges facing female business leaders
  • Present FAB's membership benefits in a way that resonates with high-achieving women seeking strategic peer support
  • Convert qualified prospects into committed FAB members through skilled relationship-building and sales process management
  • Serve as a premium brand ambassador for FAB at all networking events and business interactions
  • Gather market intelligence on the Yorkshire business landscape and competitor activities
  • Build strategic partnerships with complementary organisations serving female business leaders
  • Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions and market insights in CRM system
  • Ensure CRM data is accurate, up-to-date, and provides clear pipeline visibility for strategic planning
  • Proven track record in consultative B2B sales, ideally in premium services or membership organisations
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and senior business leaders
  • Strong ability to articulate complex value propositions and handle sophisticated objections
  • Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets

Relationship Building & Networking

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to quickly establish credibility with senior female executives
  • Comfortable and confident in high-level networking environments
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to read social dynamics effectively
  • Professional presence that reflects FAB's premium positioning

Regional Knowledge & Commitment

  • Based in Yorkshire with deep understanding of the local business ecosystem
  • Extensive existing network within Yorkshire's business community (highly desirable)
  • Commitment to extensive travel across Yorkshire for networking events (typically 3-4 evenings per week)
  • Valid UK driving licence and reliable transport

Professional Attributes

  • Self-motivated with strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and professional presentation
  • Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Passionate about supporting female business leaders and gender equality in business
  • Strong CRM management skills with experience in sales pipeline tracking
  • Previous experience in peer advisory, coaching, or professional development sectors
  • Existing relationships with female business leaders in Yorkshire
  • Background in membership organisations or exclusive business networks
  • Understanding of the challenges facing women in senior business leadership roles
