We specialise in working with seldom heard voices and diverse user groups, practising participatory co-design and ethical research. Our teams are experts in accessibility and digital inclusion. This role leads the Product Management team responsible for the NEC Digital Studio product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Product Management team, defining and executing strategy for the portfolio in alignment with business objectives. Be accountable for success within the portfolio.
- Cultivate a culture of ownership, mentorship, and customer focus; manage commercial aspects including pricing, go-to-market strategies, and product launches across the full lifecycle from concept to retirement.
- Drive innovation, identify new product and service opportunities, and bring them to market quickly.
- Foster effective relationships across the business (Product Managers, Sales, Development, Delivery, Finance, Support) to ensure end-to-end ownership of product management.
- Understand customers and markets, analyze competition, shape roadmaps, and identify opportunities to stay ahead.
- Build and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships to inform strategy and drive value; exploit synergies across related products and NEC capabilities.
- Collaborate with Sales to qualify, influence, and close opportunities; ensure clear articulation of complex solutions and customer expectations regarding delivery timelines.
- Advance product governance with the Solution and Propositions Director; ensure market-driven, clearly defined short/medium/long-term strategies and release plans.
- Coordinate with Digital Studio colleagues and Development leads to ensure resources and processes support investment plans and customer-funded work.
- Maintain collateral, roadmaps, battlecards, marketing materials, and competitor insights to enable effective customer engagement.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience:
- Essential
- Proven track record in a Product Leadership role in technology industries.
- Ability to innovate and inspire teams, partners, and customers.
- Ability to execute at pace, managing multiple parallel projects.
- General understanding of IT and emerging trends, particularly Cloud platforms and services.
- Desirable
- Knowledge of the justice, home office and health sectors.
