We provide members with business accounts and related banking services, plus a comprehensive set of connected administrative solutions from invoicing to accounting. Launched in 2017, Tide is used by over 1 million small businesses worldwide and serves UK, Indian and German SMEs. Headquartered in London with offices in Sofia, Hyderabad, Delhi, Berlin and Belgrade, Tide employs over 2,000 people.
The Role
Head of Product to lead Tide’s Wealth Services. You will own and scale our savings and investment proposition for SMEs and sole traders, set the vision and roadmap, and balance short-term growth with long-term scalability. You will work closely with engineering, design, data, compliance, and commercial teams to deliver high-impact features, while leading a small product team and being accountable for commercial and product success metrics.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for savings, investment accounts and related Wealth Services for SMEs and sole traders.
- Lead the full product lifecycle — discovery, delivery, launch, and optimisation — across web, app, and partner channels.
- Manage and grow a small product team, mentoring and recruiting as the portfolio scales.
- Define and deliver against key commercial and product metrics (deposits, activation, retention, AUM, cross-sell).
- Partner with engineering, design, data, compliance, finance, operations, and commercial teams to deliver compliant, high-quality features.
- Build and run a test-and-learn programme (A/B, MVT, experiments) to inform prioritisation and improve journeys.
- Use analytics to segment customers, track performance, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Optimise customer journeys and cross-sell strategies to drive adoption and lifetime value.
- Oversee go-to-market planning, pricing, and relevant commercial partnerships.
- Continuously identify and implement product and process improvements, balancing innovation with regulatory and operational needs.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years in product management, with 3+ years in savings, deposits, or wealth products.
- Proven track record launching and scaling savings accounts or similar products.
- Experience leading product teams and managing end-to-end delivery.
- Strong commercial ownership, including roadmap, P&L, and pricing strategy.
- Deep understanding of deposit mechanics, interest modelling, partner integrations, and UK regulatory frameworks.
- Skilled in defining success metrics, running experiments, and applying data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with banking partners, vendors, and in fast-paced fintech environments.
- Pragmatic, delivery-focused, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
