About The Role

The Head of Sales Operations plays a key leadership role in optimising Moodle's global commercial operations. This position is responsible for driving sales efficiency, implementing scalable systems and processes and ensuring the Sales and Strategic Partnerships teams are equipped to meet ambitious revenue targets. The role combines strategic and hands‑on work, from designing operational frameworks and managing CRM systems to coaching and mentoring team members. Success in this role will come from a balance of analytical thinking, process improvement and people leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Leading and coaching your team, supporting them to achieve ambitious direct sales targets and hit key performance indicators
  • Optimise sales processes and systems to improve efficiency, scalability and accuracy across lead generation, pipeline management and revenue forecasting
  • Manage and enhance CRM systems (Salesforce and Hubspot), ensuring data integrity, effective adoption and continuous improvement
  • Generate actionable insights by designing and analysing reports and dashboards that inform decision‑making at all levels of the organisation
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Sales, Strategic Partnerships and Technology teams to align strategies and enhance the customer journey
  • Champion a data‑driven and solutions‑focused culture, identifying opportunities for improvement and leading initiatives that enhance commercial outcomes

Requirements

We’d love to meet you:

  • Proven track record of exceeding ambitious individual and team revenue goals
  • Deep expertise in process design, development and implementation
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team, with demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination experience
  • Extensive experience managing CRM systems (Salesforce and Hubspot preferred)
  • Data‑driven approach, with the ability to assess data quality and develop insights through reports and dashboards
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on scalable, practical solutions
