We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Head of Sales to lead and inspire a small team of Business Development Managers while driving new client acquisition in a high-growth corporate travel environment. This is a hands-on role where you will not only manage and mentor the team but also personally lead on winning new business. Head of Sales – responsibilities

  • Driving new business acquisition through your own proactive prospecting and high-quality client engagement.
  • Leading, coaching and motivating a small team of Business Development Managers.
  • Attending client meetings, networking events, and industry functions to build strong, long-term relationships.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to shape sales strategy and ensure the company stands out through its exceptional service.
  • Supporting the preparation and delivery of compelling, tailored proposals and presentations.

Head of Sales – qualifications

  • Proven and successful track record in business development within the corporate travel sector.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Highly proactive approach to prospecting and relationship building.
  • Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on with client acquisition.
