Why Work for TGIS?

TGIS is an independent, engine-focused technical services company that combines deep technical expertise with sharp commercial thinking. Founded in 2002 by aero-engine expert Trish Gray and aircraft transition specialist Ian Smith, we’ve spent over 20 years supporting airlines and lessors with technically robust, commercially sound advice on how to manage, maintain and optimise their engine assets.

We don’t do generic tech support or compliance box-ticking. We solve complex, high-stakes engine problems with clarity, honesty, and technical confidence.

Since 2020, we’ve been a strategic partner for Optima, an established engine fleet cost optimisation programme that we’ve co-developed with PA Consulting and DecisionBrain. Optima delivers major cost savings for airlines, and is shaping how the industry tackles long-term engine cost control and optimisation.

At TGIS Aviation, we’re growing a high performing company with a culture you’ll be proud to be part of, and a commitment to building something lasting, not just delivering projects, but setting standards. If you're looking to step up, influence strategy, and work at the cutting edge of engine lifecycle management, TGIS is the place to do it.
