With operations spanning multiple regions and a diverse workforce, they are committed to raising the bar across all aspects of Health & Safety. They are now seeking a forward‑thinking H&S Manager to help shape, build and embed a best‑practice safety culture across the business.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will take responsibility for reviewing current systems (where they exist), designing a robust H&S framework, and driving consistent implementation across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing company‑wide Health & Safety policies, procedures and performance standards
  • Conducting site audits and risk assessments to ensure full compliance with legal and industry‑specific requirements
  • Leading, mentoring and influencing managers at all levels to embed a positive safety culture
  • Providing practical, hands‑on support and coaching to operational teams
  • Delivering training, toolbox talks and safety briefings
  • Managing incident investigations and implementing corrective action plans
  • Reporting on KPIs, trends and improvements to the senior leadership team
  • Acting as the subject‑matter expert on all H&S matters across the organisation

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in a Health & Safety leadership role (any multisite, operational or fast‑paced sector considered)
  • A proven track record of managing, coaching and developing teams
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and drive change effectively
  • The ability to build structure, process and governance in an environment that is evolving
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (as a minimum); Diploma advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
